2. Customer/booker/client:

The Customer undertakes to comply with these terms and conditions when purchasing products and services by vendor Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Slott).

The terms and conditions apply to the rental and booking of the products and services.

Booking and ordering terms and conditions

  • The customer is responsible for familiarizing himself with the service description and instructions and the terms and conditions associated with the booking.
  • Preliminary bookings are made in writing only according to a separate agreement.
  • The booking will only take effect once a written booking request has been received.   • The order/booking/payment confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer.

  • A binding purchase contract will take effect once the order has been confirmed (order, booking or payment confirmation).

  • For private group and package bookings of more than 12 people, the booking fee will be charged €500 at the time of confirming the booking, regardless of the date of booking. Cancellation of the purchase and refund

  • The products have 14 days' return rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
  • The right of return is valid only if the product is in a condition corresponding to the original.

  • Gift cards cannot be returned.

Cancellations and changes

  • The cancellation date is the date on which Oy Svartå Gård (Svartå Slott) has been informed of the cancellation.
  • Cancellations must always be confirmed in writing.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation has been sent on time.

 

GENERAL CANCELLATION TERMS:

  • If the customer cancels his/her booking or part of the booking package,
  • when it is 30 or more days until the start of the booking period, nothing will be charged for the cancellation.
  • when it is 21-29 days until the start of the booking period, 25% of the price of the cancelled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when it is 14-20 days until the start of the booking period, 50% of the price of the cancelled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when it is 7-13 days until the start of the booking period, 75% of the price of the cancelled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when it is 0-6 days until the start of the booking period, 100% of the price of the cancelled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.

 

TERMS FOR PRIVATE PARTY:

  • Booking fee of 800€ will be charged when confirming the booking. The fee is not returned if cancelled, but will be reduced from the final invoice.
  • If the customer cancels his/her booking or part of the booking package,
  • when it is 4 moths or more days until the start of the booking period, nothing will be charged for the cancellation.
  • when it is 2-4 months until the start of the booking period, 50% of the price of the cancelled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when it is 1-2 months until the start of the booking period, 75% of the price of the cancelled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when it is 0-1 months until the start of the booking period, 100% of the price of the cancelled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.

 

  • For items booked with a discount code, the full product price will always be charged regardless of the time of cancellation.
  • A single one-night hotel room and a single reservation for a maximum of 2 people, or a combination thereof, can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the booking date.
  • As regards the cancellation conditions, it is possible for the customer and Svartå Slott's sales service to agree separately and in writing on exceptions. These agreements must always be made in writing by e-mail and be documented in the booking confirmation or order sent by Svartå Slott's sales service.
  • ·         In cases of force majeure, the customer may terminate the rental or service contract free of charge by sending a written investigation of the incident.

Owner's right to cancel a booking

  • In case of force majeure, Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Slott) may terminate the lease or service contract. The termination is notified to the customer without delay. In this case, the customer has the right to recover the amount paid in full.
  • Any additional costs incurred in the rental contract that have been terminated due to the force majeure, is not compensated to the customer.


Use of the object

  • During the rental period, the customer has the right to use the object and its equipment, as well as to separately defined services.
  • If the booker discovers deficiencies or other remarkable things about the item, he/she should notify the resource management manager without delay.
  • During their stay, the customer is responsible for furniture and appliances that have disappeared or broken.
  • If the customer has left behind dirt or other mess that requires cleaning beyond normal, Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Slott) charges the costs of the extra cleaning in its entirety, but at least 50 euros.
  • The item is at the customer's disposal during the period defined in the booking confirmation.

Pets at Svartå Castle

  • Pets are welcome at Svartå Castle in separately designated hotel rooms.
  • The booker bears full liability for damage caused by the pet.
  • You should inform us in advance about any pets.
  • The pet should be kept connected to Svartå Castle area.

Special conditions for vehicles

  • For parking vehicles there are separate marked areas.
  • You may leave the vehicle in front of the hotel during check-in despite the prohibition sign, after which the vehicle should be moved immediately to a specified parking space.
  • The driving speed in the park is not more than 30 km/h.
  • Vehicles must never be left unsupervised in front of the museum (Castle), loading dock or summer theatre, nor on the rescue routes.
  • Emergency permits for vehicles are agreed with Svartå Slott's reception.
  • Failure to comply with the rules leads to the removal of the vehicle from the park's area at the expense of the owner of the vehicle, as well as a compensation of EUR 200 for the breach of the rule.
  • Disabled people are allowed to use vehicles in svartå Slott's area and parking there according to instructions.

Special conditions regarding rental spaces and hotel rooms

  • The customer always uses the space, its furniture and fixtures on his own responsibility.
  • The spaces should be used with care and only for the use it is intended.

Keys

Payment terms
